Daquan and I spent the 2nd through the 4th in the Franklin Wal-Mart.
So we got called into the office for some complaints about carts being loose in the parking lot. It’s not my fault people are trifling and leave damn carts all the way down at Arby’s. I talked to the manager and told him it would probably happen again, I make 5 bucks an hour.
Well on day two I got some bad news. A friend of mine, expert Cashier Jaundice somehow managed to find a new job with the state. Now we got two cashiers for a store that’s open 24 hours a day. We should be fine though, we only really ever need one lane open anyway. That way, customers would not have to go look for another open lane unnecessarily.
On her last day she took off her blue vest for the last time, I could tell she’d never be the same. It was not long before there was a huge logjam of people in Clovie’s line.
Anyway, it was another week in the Walmart, and like the rest, it could have been better. Maybe I’ll put in for that cashier’s job, meanwhile I’ll keep you posted on your local unfriendly Wal-Mart.
