FRANKLIN- The recent prostitution bust in Franklin has caused quite a stir in the local community, from whispers on the aisles of Food Lion to gossiping in the pews of the Hebrew International Hot Dogs Are Delicious Jewish Synagogue of Franklin. Everyone was curious to know the identity of the teen involved. The speculation ended Monday night, when a source disclosed the identity of the alleged nocturnal mistress.

From a detailed report, the source revealed that the 17 year-old girl is known simply as Fancy, with no last name given. The report also discloses her past in great detail, mentions her involvement with the three alleged offenders, helps explain the choices she has made to this point, as well as questions her mother’s parenting.

Coming from humble beginnings, it seems Fancy had few options when she was younger. The report quotes Fancy saying, “I remember it all very well lookin’ back, it was the summer I turned fifteen. We lived in a one-room, rundown shack down the road from Hercules. We didn’t have money for food or rent, to say the least we were hard pressed. Then Mama spent every last penny we had to buy me a dancin’ dress.”

The living conditions were not all that seemed to have shaped Fancy’s decision making. An excerpt from the report, which was said to have come from Fancy’s diary, details the levels of her mother’s involvement in the teen’s lifestyle choice stating, “Mama washed and combed and curled my hair, and she painted my eyes and lips. Then I stepped into a satin dancin’ dress that had a split from the side clean up to my hip. It was red velvet trim, and it fit me good. Standin’ back from the lookin’ glass, there stood a woman where a half grown kid had stood. She said here’s your one chance, Fancy don’t let me down.”

The report also mentions the relationships she had with the three men currently under arrest with Fancy stating, “It wasn’t long after that, three benevolent men took me in off the street, and one week later I was ‘pourin’ their tea’ in a one-room hotel suite.” The alleged offenders still maintain their innocence since their names were not actually mentioned in the entry, and insist it must be referring to some other three unfortunate men in Franklin.

After the allegations surfaced last week, Fancy made one final entry to the diary that addressed the community’s reaction to the news as well as her outlook on her situation. The entry states, “I couldn’t see spending the rest of my life with my head hung down in shame… you know, I might have been born just plain white trash, but Fancy was my name!” Fancy goes on to say, “Now in this world there’s a lot of self-righteous hypocrites that would call me bad, and criticize Mama for turning me out, no matter how little we had. But though I ain’t had to worry ’bout nothin’ for all the last three years, I can still hear the desperation in my poor Mama’s voice ringin’ in my ear. She said here’s your one chance, Fancy, don’t let me down!”

The Lifetime Movie network is already in negotiations to buy exclusive rights to Fancy’s story, and her diary has surpassed Anne Frank’s on Amazon’s best seller list as of Tuesday morning. No charges have been brought against the teen as of Monday night, with District Attorney Matt Johns saying, “After reading this, I think she’s suffered enough.”
